Studying the Human Scale and Proportionality of Great Mosque in Jawa Timur, Indonesia

The proportion and scale of humans in the building are one invoices shaping beauty effectiveness function building. In architecture, there is a golden ratio as reference for calculating proportions shape. While Indonesia, especially Java Bali, traditional measurement method developing building, using body anatomy measurements. This study uses Golden Ratio Traditional Measurement methods to analyze dimensions prayer room at Great Mosque East with case studies Lamongan Mosque, Tuban Gresik Jamee Mosque. results obtained from this existing largest percentage approaching (82%), smallest Jami (61.8%). need adjustments be more effective meeting human performing prayers, that approach modern measurements use "kilan" "hasta." From these results, it hoped future, mosque planning can pay attention scale, both measurements, which local wisdom culture.
